Mastering Our Identity!

We are now entering a very exciting phase of the Urban Guru project.

The T Shirts have arrived and are sitting in the office waiting for pickup. They look fantastic, all sitting in their boxes with their swing tags and sealed plastic bags. Very very professional, and very very very excited.

The website is getting the final touches now to the shopping cart so that we can all be ready for launch date of 20.10.2010 - a date chosen for the general niceness of the numbers.

And this is key with the Urban Guru Project. It all has meaning and thoughtfullness behind every action.

This is afterall the pathway of the guru, not that we are implying in any way shape or form that we are gurus of anything, except perhaps our won destiny.

We had a big discussion about timing and launching, and this is what we arrived at. It has all fitted together nicely, and big lessons have been learnt about dealing with off shore suppliers (eg the t-shirt manufacturers). We now have 1000 shirts ready to go into the stores that have already expressed interest, and for sale online via the Urban Guru website. 1000 sounds like alot, but when you split this amongst 2 colours (black and white), 3 men's sizes (small, medium and large), and 5 different designs, in some instances we only have 25 of each style.

This means it will be a get in quick scenario. It is going to take us 6 weeks until the next shipment arrives so we imagine that we are going to run short on some styles in some sizes.
