I have decided to pull out a classic clip for a Friday afternoon as a bit of a welcome distraction to end the week.

Classic! This version comes from the intense acid movie "Yellow Submarine". Would you believe our class was actually shown this movie at Primary School. I was under 10yrs old. Cant really remember exactly how old I was to be honest, but I do remember watching it. Weird. Who would show this to a bunch of young school kids these days????

This song was banned from broadcast in 1967. Wonder why.
The references are pretty literal and very polarising. There are those out there that vow and declare the song is all about LSD experimentation, whilst others prefer the theory that the song is really all inspired by a drawing that John Lennon's son Julian brought home with him. So many opinions out there. We will never know unless the remaining 2 Beatles decide to enlighten the world.
