Not many hours to go to see how the new gen TV folks have gone with their updated interpretation of an 80's classic tv miniseries "V".
Almost tempted over the last couple of days to shirk from deadlines and hole up and watch the old school version I have on DVD, but alas I am far to responsible for that kind of carry on! It is great to see comprehensive marketing campaigns at work - check out the TVNZ website and see the lengths they are now going to promote and engage the audience. It does bring up an interesting conversation about the traditional TV market vs the internet / Tivo etc. With the start of web only shows on TVNZ there sems to be an acceptance that the internet is a real force in the entertainment stakes, with more and more of the demographic spending more time surfing and less time infront of the box.......

The rain has been a motivator to get as much work done as possible so I can get into the garden in the weekend and get another round of veges in. Strawberries are in full production now. Yesterday Sophia had 8 or 9 fat red ones, and is starting to eye up the raspberries as they start ripening. I hope we get a look in too......
