This Wednesdays Weird Web Thievery comes by way of inspiration over a conversation earlier in the day with a friend about programmes to use to produce pdf's. Up until now they have been using Microsoft Word, but producing huge file sizes.
My programme of choice for this is a part of the OpenOffice.org productivity suite. Great open source programme that does all that MS Office does and more. It is all I use now.

Update: Glen my microsoft genius friend informs me that from Ofice 2007 onwards the pdf situation was resolved and Office 2010 is stunning. Guess I will be getting that one day soon to see what the fuss is about.
