The impact we are having on the world around us is immense, and at some point we have to really take responsibility for the mess we are making in everyone's collective backyard's. Not just for the sake of being politically correct and all of that blah blah, but just for actually taking care in our individual choices. We as consumers actually have the power. Just say no, and buy something different or do without. I remember growing up in provincial NZ in the 70's where supermarkets did not actually exist. Everything came from the Four Square down the road - a small convience store by today's standards - but we all made do! Actually I binned the youtube clip as it was 1 of 3 and I couldn't find the other clips, so I went right to the source Check out their website too if you like this clip and find it imformative - they have many other videos like this highlighting the overall lack of environmental awareness we collectively have.
